- 3v internal batteries will last for approximately 6 weeks
- 12v external battery would be expected to last for approximately 4 weeks between charges
- 47BL1 lead is needed in order to run the energiser from an external 12v battery
- 47SP2W-S is a multi-position 2.5 watt solar panel specifically designed to be used with the Shrike energiser
- Earth stake of a minimum 1m is recommended
