Information: Saline batteries are a cheaper alternative to alkaline batteries. The main difference between the two kinds of batteries is their voltage curve. Alkaline batteries maintain a constant high voltage over their entire service life. On the other hand, saline batteries voltage decreases over it's lifetime. From a battery voltage of approximately 5.5v, saline batteries are empty and must be replaced. Our saline batteries are mercury and cadmium free and therefore are very environmentally friendly.
